Dermatologist - Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, WISCONSIN:  Luther Midelfort – Mayo Health System, a thriving, physician directed, fully integrated hospital and multispecialty clinic, is seeking the 7^th clinical and surgical dermatologist.  Interest in cosmetics is appropriate.  This busy practice provides dermatologic care for patients referred by 280 physicians within our health system. We recently received the Governor’s Wisconsin Forward Award of Excellence. This is the state’s highest honor for organizational performance excellence. Luther Midelfort also received the Acclaim Award, the American Medical Group Association’s (AMGA) most prestigious award.

Eau Claire is a university community with a population of nearly 65,000 and a metro area of 95,000. There are an additional 10,800 students at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. The university enriches the community with excellent speakers, concerts, plays and art exhibits on a regular basis. The state of Wisconsin school systems are ranked in the top three in the nation. Eau Claire students consistently score higher than the states average on standardized tests. We have a bike trail that starts downtown and runs for over 40 continuous miles. The city of Eau Claire sits at the confluence of two rivers; the geography is comprised of rolling hills, woods and farm land. Eau Claire serves as the retail center for West-Central Wisconsin. You are, however, only 90 minutes from Minneapolis/St. Paul. The Twin Cities are known for their specialty shopping, professional sports teams and a multitude of fine arts, offerings among other amenities.
